Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026
When you visit yanggah.com, we and our third-party service providers may place small text files ("cookies") or use similar storage technologies (such as localStorage and sessionStorage) on your device. This policy explains what we set, why, and how you can control them.
This policy covers the web app at yanggah.com only. The YANGGAH mobile apps (iOS and Android) do not use browser cookies; they use device storage mechanisms governed by our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. Cookies allow websites to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use a site. Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser ("session cookies"); others persist until they expire or you delete them ("persistent cookies").
Cookies We Use
| Name / Key | Type | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Essential | Maintains your authenticated session. Without this cookie you would be logged out on every page load. | Session / 1 hour refresh token window | Supabase |
| yanggah_cookie_consent | Essential | Stores your cookie consent preference (accepted all / essential only) so the banner does not reappear. | 1 year | YANGGAH (localStorage) |
| yanggah_currency | Essential | Remembers your chosen display currency (e.g. GBP, NGN) so prices show correctly on return visits. | Persistent (localStorage) | YANGGAH (localStorage) |
| yanggah_cart | Essential | Saves your shopping cart contents so items are not lost if you close your browser tab. | Persistent (localStorage) | YANGGAH (localStorage) |
| ph_* | Analytics | PostHog analytics, tracks anonymised usage events (pages viewed, checkout steps) to help us improve the platform. No payment data, message content, addresses, or personal details are sent. | 1 year | PostHog |
We do not use advertising, targeting, or third-party tracking cookies. We do not sell cookie data.
How to Control Cookies
When you first visit yanggah.com you will see a consent banner allowing you to accept all cookies or essential cookies only. If you choose "Essential Only", analytics cookies will not be set. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's cookies and localStorage for yanggah.com and reloading the page, the consent banner will reappear.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies entirely; however, blocking essential cookies (especially the Supabase auth token) will prevent you from logging in. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions:

- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
